Wholegrain blend of 60% hard red winter wheat, and 38% Patwin hard white wheat, with 2% Admiral Malting’s “Capay Rye” malted rye flour, Max’s is our red-wheat-forward baking blend.

Max’s blend is a workable, richly-flavored all-purpose wholegrain flour with plenty of strength for breads, without being heavy or bitter. Hollis and Patwin get high marks from the California Wheat Commission test lab, especially as whole-grain flours . Also available in 2 lb. and 5 lb. retail packaging.
